Prum Ero is a documentarian working in photography and video, born in 1989 in Phnom Penh, where he currently lives and works. His photographs have been published in the Cambodia Daily, the Phnom Penh Post, and Khmer Times. His photo-essay commissions include Gallery Magazine, The National Gallery of Victoria, Angkor Air Magazine, and Fah Thai Magazine. He works in art copy, production of artist films, including Korean artist Hyun-Suk Seo’s documentary in 2014 (no title yet), Thai artist Arin Rungjang’s documentary, Remember in 2015, and Cambodian artist Khvay Samnang’s Preah Kunlong (The Way of the Spirit) in 2017, commissioned by Documenta 14, and Popil in 2018. Ero had a solo exhibition Phnom Penh’s Corner at Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center in 2015, and his work was exhibited in Sangker Memories, the inaugural show of Sangker Art Space, Battambang in 2014.
